Filipino restaurant in Shreveport permanently halts operations
The Shreveport, Louisiana dining scene is currently going through a difficult period as another restaurant has opted to permanently close.
In recent months, several chain restaurants in Shreveport have closed their doors and this shows no signs of slowing down. Boka, one of the top Filipino restaurants in the area, announced on Facebook and Instagram that they will be halting their operations at the end of the month.
In the post, the caption reads: “To all of our loyal customers, it’s been a pleasure. To all those asking when will be our last day, unfortunately due to it being the end of the month, we won’t be able to do it.”
The Filipino restaurant officially opened in May, dishing out Chamorro, which is a food locals in Guam love, and favorite Filipino cuisine like pancit, lumpia, and tocino. The Chamorro and Filipino restaurant is said to be the first of its kind in the area.
