The series will feature author readings, research presentations, panel discussions, and art exhibits. It will offer various perspectives on these complex topics.

The second BMI event will be on Oct. 16 at 12:00 noon, at the same location. Researchers from Xavier University will discuss women and children asylum seekers in Nogales, Mexico. The event is titled ‘Fleeting, Waiting, Hoping’.

The October event will also have a panel discussion and an art exhibit in the library art gallery.  The exhibit runs until Nov. 15.
