Filipino missing in Winnipeg; police seeking info on 2 men
Police in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, are looking for two men who might have information regarding the disappearance of Eduardo Balaquit, a 59-year-old Filipino.
Balaquit has been missing since June 4, last seen wearing a black zip-up sweater, black pants, and black shoes. He is of medium build, 5-4 tall, and155 pounds.
Authorities believe Balaquit is the victim of a crime. His Dodge Caravan with a smashed passenger window was found near his workplace on June 5. Some of his personal belongings including his cell phone were on a seat in the van or scattered on the ground, according to a report by the Winnipeg Free Press.
Winnipeg police authorities stated in a press release that the men in the photos “may be able to provide assistance with the investigation.”
