Kimshaker’s Foodhub, the Filipino restaurant that’s been delighting New Westminster, British Columbia for the past six months, is getting ready for a special celebration.

To mark its half-year anniversary, the restaurant is offering a unique menu featuring seven popular Filipino street food items, all priced at just $6 each. This special menu will be available for just two days on Sept. 15 and 16.

Located in the Royal City Centre on 610 6th St., Kimshaker’s Foodhub has gained a reputation for its delicious party trays of carbonara and Bistek Tagalog (Filipino beef steak). To celebrate this six-month milestone, the restaurant is introducing a menu with bite-sized portions to make it easier for everyone to enjoy Filipino street food.

The celebratory menu includes a range of deep-fried treats like fish balls, squid balls, and the famous kikiam—golden crispy balls made from ground pork and shrimp. The menu will also offer kwek kwek (quail eggs hard-boiled to perfection and then fried to a delightful crisp), isaw (barbecued chicken and pork intestines), and siomai (a Filipino twist on Chinese dumplings).

As the restaurant marks its six-month journey, Kimshaker’s Foodhub is eager to serve these mouthwatering snacks as a token of appreciation to customers, continuing to spread the flavors of the Philippines in the heart of New West.
