No, he’s not there yet. But just a thumb click away to vote, we can help this Filipino pride to open for Maroon 5, OneRepublic, and Kelly Clarkson at Audacy’s 10th We Can Survive concert.

Rodolfo Goyone Jr. aka RoRo Yone is a rising star from the Philippines who is now residing and making waves in Northern Virginia. With more votes, he can be selected as the opening act at the “star-studded” concert.

“I made it!!! Thanks to all of you who voted!!! We are almost there, guys! Now we have to win SEMI-FINALS and then take over the FINALS!!!” Yone shared on his Instagram.

RoRo Yone’s journey

  • The invite

It all began when he received an invitation from Audacy (previously known as Radio.com) to compete in the Opening Act competition, a platform where artists can show their talents and win by votes.

Previous winners of the Opening Act have opened for Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, and Lizzo. And this year, the goal is to secure a spot in the slot for the We Can Survive concert, an event dedicated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. He is currently fourth in the quarterfinals.
