Ramos was initially known for his skills in 2019 when he first moved to the Philippines to play in the UAAP. But due to the pandemic, he wasn’t able to play for the Ateneo Blue Eagles.
With Ateneo off the table, he took his parents with him to Japan where he then played for the Toyama Grouses.
Fast forward to three years, he now stands with Kai Sotto and Jordan Clarkson as shoo-ins for Gilas Pilipinas in the 2023 Fiba Basketball World Cup. But besides these details, there’s a lot more to discover about the 6’4 sensation.

Born on Sept. 2, 1998, Ramos celebrated his birthday in time for Gilas’ victory against China where he contributed 11 points. This rising basketball phenom has come a long way since his childhood in California, playing for NCAA Div. I California State University, Fullerton for two years and in Div II Cal Poly-Pomona for another year.
