Fil-Am-owned Café 86 dessert chain expands to Arizona
CHANDLER, Arizona – Filipino American-owned dessert chain Café 86 has announced its first Arizona franchise location.
The newest franchisees, Emmanuel Sanchez, Miguel Castellanos, and Nancy Castellanos, will bring Café 86 to Chandler, which has a Filipino population of 5,000 and a Hispanic majority.
Café 86 was founded in 2014 in Chino, California, serving milkshakes, milk tea, truffles, cupcakes, cheesecakes, espresso drinks, and more.
Ginger Dimapasok, co-founder of Café 86, said in a release, “This is a huge step for Café 86. Our team has been incredibly excited to get to know this newest group of franchise partners and fully trust them to bring Café 86 to Arizona for the first time.”

Café 86’s hard-to-find Filipino-inspired desserts have fueled its expansion to 11 franchise units since it launched its franchise sales effort earlier this year.
The Arizona franchise comes shortly after Café 86 announced three additional franchise agreements in California, signaling a strong market demand for the brand. .
