In the film, they are two fierce, self-made women navigating through life’s ups and downs. Philomena Angeles (Kathryn Bernardo) plans revenge against businesswoman Mother Molly (Dolly De Leon) with the goal of destroying Molly’s empire.

From average to sassy

‘A Very Good Girl’ unleashes a different Kathryn Bernardo; imagine all the kontabidas here. This time around, she’s ditching the sweet girl role she’s been known for a dash of fierce eye makeup, and she’s slaying it.

“This is my first time experiencing this so this is something new for me, for Star Cinema, and it’s such an honor to be part of this experience. Hopefully, this will open more opportunities not just for Star Cinema but also for other Filipino films.” Bernardo said in an interview.

And let’s not forget the Hollywood famous Dolly de Leon as she graces the screen looking all immaculate and pristine. In this Filipino movie, she’s trading her almost-sad “Triangle of Sadness” fashion vibes for a fierce and fashionable style. Her remarkable acting skills are also on point.
