Mars Ravelo’s comics art showing until Aug. 27 at PH Center in NY
A mobile exhibit featuring the iconic characters of the “King of Philippine Komiks” Mars Ravelo will be up until Aug. 27 at Sentro Rizal, Philippine Center 556 5th Avenue, New York City in celebration of “Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa” (National Language Month).
On exhibit are Ravelo’s works, from the likes of “Dyesebel,” “Darna,” and “Captain Barbel” to his earlier creations such as “Rita,” “Ric Benson,” and many others. The Filipino language comes alive through Ravelo’s captivating artistry and dynamic dialogues.

The exhibit has been in Jersey City, New Jersey and Attleboro, Massachusetts. It is made possible with the support of the Ravelo Family, Mars Ravelo Komiks Characters, Inc., and ABS-CBN.
