Yassi Pressman’s LA looks just gave us ideas on how to style a terno top
Actress Yassi Pressman gives terno a casual edge, wearing the butterfly sleeves not once but twice to attend events in Los Angeles this week, including a stand-up comedy show by comedian and actor Jo Koy.
The first look saw Pressman in a beige pinstripe terno top styled with a lace scarf over leather pants. The cropped terno was by Filipino designer and Ternocon 2023 contestant Dee Javier.
After the show, the actress took to Instagram to thank Jo Koy for “getting through that door and keeping your foot down and holding that door to help other people come thru, too! Applaudable. and most of all thanks for showing the world our culture! and taking the Philippines flag wherever you go!”

Meanwhile, for a Filipino party, Pressman paired a terno top printed with indigenous Filipino weaving motifs with a belted yellow balloon skirt. Another Ternocon alumnus, Dinnes Obusan, designed the top.
