SF Pistahan Parade & Festival in August invites artists, exhibitors, vendors
SAN FRANCISCO – “Celebrating our Past and Empowering our Future” will be the theme of the 30th annual Pistahan Parade and Festival, the Filipino American Arts Exposition announced.
The Pistahan Parade and Festival, the largest celebration of Filipino art, culture, dance, food and music in the U.S., will take place on Saturday, Aug. 12 and Sunday, Aug. 13, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. PDT each day at Yerba Buena Gardens in San Francisco. The Pistahan Parade will take place on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the heart of downtown.
For the fourth year, global audiences can live stream the two-day event via Kumu, Facebook Live, and YouTube Live.

- Musician, singer, dancer or entertainer:We are currently booking performing artists, cultural dance companies, and entertainers of all genres. (Extended Deadline: Friday, June 23)
- Artisan, nonprofits or business owner:Promote your organization’s products and services as a booth exhibitor in our virtual sari-sari marketplace. (Deadline: Friday, July 14)
- Food vendors and food trucks:Join the Pistahan food court, showcasing the many flavors of Philippine cuisine by the best restaurants and food trucks from the Bay Area. (Deadline: Friday, July 14)
Parade contingent: The Pistahan Parade celebrates the community with festive floats, lively community contingents, and musical groups marching down Market Street from Civic Center to the Yerba Buena.

(Deadline: Friday, July 14).The 30th Pistahan Parade kicks off the festival weekend on Saturday, Aug. 12 and is a colorful display of Filipino community pride and diversity, featuring festive floats, cultural dance groups, musical performances, and community organizations. The Parade will begin at the Civic Center, proceed along Market Street, and end at Yerba Buena Gardens.
The free two-day outdoor event will feature cultural performances, world-class entertainment, food trucks, artisan merchandise, and hands-on and authentic cultural experiences in six themed pavilions: Art, Culinary, Dance, Health, Innovation, and Sports.
The Festival supports local artisans, food vendors, entrepreneurs, and more, and provides opportunities for guests to discover Philippine history, heritage, and traditions.
