This year’s edition of the much-anticipated Hawaii  Food Week June 20 to 26 will have Pulutan (bar food) or pupus as its theme.

More than 20 restaurants are participating in the Honolulu event, announced the Philippine Consulate, the event’s organizer, including Basalt Restaurant Waikiki, Chef Chai, Eating House 1849, Elena’s Home of Finest Filipino Foods, J & S Lumpia Spot, Joey’s Kitchen, MACADANGDANG, Max’s of Manila – Dillingham and Waipahu, Obake, Ōlena by Chef Ron Simon, PAI Honolulu, Roy’s® Hawaii Kai, SAMA SAMA, Shan-J Restaurant, Skull and Crown Trading Co., Stage Restaurant & Amuse Wine Bar, Tante’s Island Cuisine, Tiki’s Grill & Bar, UBAE and XO Restaurant.

The Philippine Consulate and Philippine Airlines will give away a free ticket to a lucky patron through a social media raffle contest. To enter:

  • Spend a minimum of $25 on any FFW specials (dish or drink) in any participating Filipino Food Week Hawaii or American Samoa restaurant. Only one receipt per person per participating restaurant will qualify for a single entry to the raffle draw.
  • Take a photo of the FFW special and share the photo on your social media page/s with the hashtag #FilipinoFoodWeekHawaiiAS2023.
  • Take a screenshot of your social media post and your receipt (with your name and contact number written on the receipt) as proof of the required minimum purchase amount and email these to [email protected].

The winner will be announced on June 28.
