In the dynamic tapestry of Philippine entertainment, one star is shimmering the same brilliance as the pop star she portrays. A captivating talent, Taylor Sheesh is earning international fame.

The 28-year-old star grinds like there’s no tomorrow. Her commitment to achieving the essence of Taylor Swift has earned her the limelight in Philippine entertainment industry.

Her viral 90-minute performance at the Trinoma Mall in Quezon City earned applause. Viewers were in awe that it quickly went viral on Twitter and TikTok. In addition, the Rolling Stone also featured her performance.

When she’s not performing Taylor Swift songs, Sheesh works as a customer service representative on a graveyard shift. She was forced to take the job when bars closed during the pandemic.

She quips, “At this age, we need naps,” showing that even superstars need to sleep too.

Known to her friends as Mac, Sheesh began impersonating Taylor Swift in 2017 or 2018 during her entry to a lip-sync match at a local nightclub. The Surprise performance resulted in her joining a group at the club.

Furthermore, Sheesh is also part of a growing organization in the Philippines that is open to drag culture. The rise in popularity of drag performance is evident in the making of Drag Race Philippines’ second season.

Sheesh utilizes her platform to inform her audience about drag culture. She shared her experiences through her Pride shows, podcasts, and even at her first TV show appearance.

A True Swiftie

Undoubtedly, Sheesh is a Swiftie by heart, as she started her journey as a Swiftie in 2009. She was immediately a fan when she heard the song “Fifteen.”

In addition, she also has other favorites like “Dear John” and “Last Kiss.” But when she’s performing, she goes for crowd favorites like “You Belong with Me” and “Love Story.”
