Rising hip-hop-R&B duo Manila Grey starts tour in Vancouver

An up-and-coming hip-hop and R&B duo known as Manila Grey is going on its Sound Drift album tour starting on Sunday, May 21 at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver, BC.

The duo’s 12-track Sound Drift has racked up nearly 200 million streams. It says its sound is “a combination of the aesthetic vibes and sonic influences” of both Manila and Canada’s West Coast” according to Daily Hive columnist Daniel Chai.

Soliven and Neeko, immigrated separately to British Columbia as youngsters. They formed Manila Grey in 2016 and have made two EPs and three studio albums.

The duo has been nominated for the Juno Awards, or the Junos, presented by the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences.
