Unveiling the Truth: US Government Is Tracking 650+ Mysterious UFOs
People worldwide are fascinated with the potential existence of extraterrestrial life. Now, the US government may have unveiled something to shed light on UFOs.
The Pentagon released a statement on the growing number of reported UFOs or unidentified aerial phenomena sightings.
How many UFOs is the US government currently tracking?
Director of the Pentagon office, Sean Kirkpatrick, handles the UFO sightings. He confirmed that the government monitors over 650 possible “unidentified aerial phenomena.” Kirkpatrick also testified on the Senate Armed Services Committee.

He addressed the issues about the mysterious objects. While others fear that these potential UFO sightings could be linked to foreign adversaries, Kirkpatrick noted that his office had not seen any proof of alien activity.
The director also emphasized that almost half of the reports are under priority for more review. His office is observing whether there is abundant data to resolve the cases.
However, he advised that many cases may remain unresolved due to insufficient data. During Kirkpatrick’s testimony, he showed videos of two recent cases which they have declassified.

One of the videos showed an appearance of a spherical flying object in the Middle East in 2022. Until now, it is still unresolved due to inadequate data.
This year in South Asia, there was a second sighting. But an AARO analysis identified the object as a commercial airplane.
US Government Initiative on Potential UFO Sightings
The Pentagon established Kirkpatrick’s office last July to initiate the analysis of potential UFO sightings. But he also aimed to temper the belief that UFOs have an out-of-this-world explanation.
The head of the Pentagon's top UFO office told a Senate subcommittee last week that, even though 650 sightings remain under review, "no credible evidence" has been unearthed to show that any of the mysterious objects originated someplace other than Earth. https://t.co/HlK3NoRlqs pic.twitter.com/zCReYlZvoE

Kirkpatrick had co-written a paper with Harvard professor Avi Loeb. He presented a theory that some objects that seem to defy physics could be “probes” from a UFO mothership.
The director also highlighted that in his research, AARO had found no evidence of any UFO activity, objects, or non-worldly technology that challenges the existing laws of physics.
While Kirkpatrick hasn’t found credible evidence that the Chinese or Russian technology caused the unexplainable events, he pointed at “concerning indicators” that foreign adversaries could be at play.
The growing number of reports about foreign capabilities has spurred lawmakers to have more interest in the mysterious incursions.
Overall, the majority of potential UFO sightings reported showed normal characteristics of natural phenomena, balloons, clutters, or other explainable sources.
