PH shares cultural info with U.S. Congress Asian Pacific staffers

WASHINGTON, D.C.– Capping its celebration of Philippine National Heritage Monthand Asian Pacific American Heritage Month (US observance), the Philippine Embassy shared cultural and heritage information as well as background on the country’s top tourist destinations with Asian Pacific staffers of the U.S. Congress.
The first-ever Embassy Showcase was organized by the Congressional Asian Pacific American Staff Association (CAPASA) on May 30 at the foyer of the Rayburn House Office Building.

The inaugural showcase also featured the Embassies of Bangladesh, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, and Thailand, the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in the US, and the US-Asia Institute.
CAPASA is a non-partisan, non-profit congressional staff organization dedicated to advancing professional development and building social networks among its members, and serving the AAPI community on Capitol Hill and beyond.
