Fan Removed from Wrestlemania for Dressing Like a WWE Legend
The grandest spectacle of them all, Wrestlemania 39, witnessed the expulsion of a true wrestling fanatic, leaving him in utter disbelief. Kevin Hunsperger, a popular author and pro-wrestling ring announcer, were kicked out of the stadium for cosplaying as the legendary Big Boss Man.
Hunsperger took to TikTok to pour his heart out about the ordeal he faced at the hands of an overzealous security guard. The latter claimed that the fan was “impersonating a law officer.”
Who is Big Boss Man?
In real life, the Big Boss Man, or Ray Washington Traylor Jr., was a towering figure in the WWF in the 1980s and early 2000s. He was well-known for his captivating in-ring performances and unique attire. It consists of a corrections officer’s uniform, complete with a nightstick.

Hunsperger attended both nights of the annual WWE event in Los Angeles this year. He paid tribute by dressing up as the Hall of Famer. However, his enthusiasm didn’t last long, as the security guard’s overzealousness overshadowed the event.
According to the fan, there were no problems on the first night. But a security guard confronted him on the second night as he walked through the gates. The guard said he couldn’t come in. Since he had a patch from the sheriff’s department in Georgia on his sleeve.

After Hunsperger removed the badge, the guard still kept him out. “The guard still didn’t let me in and insisted he “took the shirt off, even when other security guards, workers, and fans tried telling him I was in cosplay, even had “Big Boss Man” across my chest.”
He went on to say that the security guard wasn’t ready to let him in when all he had was a foam nightstick. However, he noted that other fans walked in carrying metal belts and other stuff.
He concluded, “I was made to serve hard time, at least for a couple of minutes, when I changed into a ‘Big Boss Man’ t-shirt and came in and enjoyed the show.”
