Although this year’s awards night didn’t surpass the huge controversy involving Will Smith and Chris Rock last year, Oscars 2023 made up for the teeming glitzy sartorial parade.
For the first time ever, the Academy Awards picked up a champagne-colored carpet instead of the usual red. It displayed the actors’ outfits more visibly, making them more elegant in their different outfits.

The Academy Awards took place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on March 12. Aside from the awards for the best actors and films, the ceremony featured a display of impressive designer gowns, elegant beauty looks, and exquisite jewelry collections.
For instance, Michelle Yeoh donned a Dior dress while showcasing her Best Actress nomination. She was also the first Asian woman to have the Best Actress nomination in overall Oscar history.
In addition, Ana de Armas is definitely an eye-catcher as she stuns in a Louis Vuitton dress with elegant ruffles. Her nomination is also her first Oscar.

On her Armani Prive black gown, the rosettes seem to have newly bloomed off her thigh and shoulder. The actress wore it confidently, making the outfit look mysteriously sexy.
