A Look at the 10 Most Stunning Dresses at the 2023 Oscars

From Florence Pugh to Rihanna, the outfits and gowns at the Oscars 2023 were breathtaking. The Hollywood stars sure knew how to shine in the glamorous 95th Academy Awards ceremony.

Although this year’s awards night didn’t surpass the huge controversy involving Will Smith and Chris Rock last year, Oscars 2023 made up for the teeming glitzy sartorial parade.

For the first time ever, the Academy Awards picked up a champagne-colored carpet instead of the usual red. It displayed the actors’ outfits more visibly, making them more elegant in their different outfits.

The Academy Awards took place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on March 12. Aside from the awards for the best actors and films, the ceremony featured a display of impressive designer gowns, elegant beauty looks, and exquisite jewelry collections.

For instance, Michelle Yeoh donned a Dior dress while showcasing her Best Actress nomination. She was also the first Asian woman to have the Best Actress nomination in overall Oscar history.

In addition, Ana de Armas is definitely an eye-catcher as she stuns in a Louis Vuitton dress with elegant ruffles. Her nomination is also her first Oscar.

10 Most Stunning Dresses of the 2023 Oscars

We don’t want to keep you hanging. So without further ado, here are the best dressed for this year’s Oscars.

Nicole Kidman

Although rosettes dominated the eve of the awards, Nicole Kidman carried her outfit in a subtle and sexy style.

On her Armani Prive black gown, the rosettes seem to have newly bloomed off her thigh and shoulder. The actress wore it confidently, making the outfit look mysteriously sexy.

Cara Delevigne

The model-turned-actress wore a dress that replaced the vibrancy of the red carpet. Perfect enough, the neutral-colored champagne carpet enhanced her scarlet red ensemble.

She matched her gown from Elie Saab Couture with Bulgari jewelry and Stuart Weitzman stilettos.

Florence Pugh

As controversial as she was last year due to her masterpiece Don’t Worry Darling, she sealed off the Oscars 2023 with a mark of grandeur.

The actress-director wore a champagne-colored gown with puff strapless sleeves. Her dress is from the latest Valentino Fall collection. She matched it with Tiffany & Co. jewelry and black platforms.

Michelle Yeoh

The Asian actress has been in recent awards, starting with the Golden Globes. Their film, Everything All at Once, had been a hit. It raked several nominations and won top honors.

To top this off, her ethereal white ensemble with fringes and the elegant train was a master of elegance. She partnered this Dior gown with stunning Moussaieff accessories.

Rihanna was just fresh off from her famous stature following her exceptional Super Bowl performance, including a subtle new baby announcement.

For the awards night, she kind of remodeled her looks from the NFA Super Bowl. While she wore red overalls last Halftime show, she decided to go sheer all-black this time.

She styled her hair with a top knot and dark-hued red lipstick. She also wore Moussaieff accessories.

Malala Yousafzai

The famous activist strutted the Oscars 2023 with a glittery silver outfit from head to toe. Her stunning gown with sequins had sleeves and a slight trail.

She boosted her outfit with vibrant emerald bijouterie, perfectly matching her silver earrings.

Fan Bingbing

Fan Bingbing stunned the audience with a touch of old Hollywood grandeur. Her Tony Ward gown was an easy eye-catcher with its crystal-colored gown topped with oversize green massive sleeves.

Angela Bassett

The Black Panther actress was a total eye candy with her purple Moschino gown. Her extra but elegant take on a fishtail gown is something refreshing.

Jennifer Austin styled her strapless gown with a structured neckline. She matched this outfit with equally stunning Bulgari jewelry.

Cate Blanchett

The Hollywood veteran always impressed her audiences with her elegant fashion. Although everyone is almost expecting her to wear the same dress, just as how she does it over the years, she doesn’t re-wear her dress this time.

Her blue and black Louis Vuitton silk ensemble spells glamour. Her eco-friendly ensemble has a matching skirt from sustainable silk. Many also noticed her wearing a blur ribbon which has a deep meaning.

Temilade Yeniyi, also well-known as Tems went all out for the Oscars 2023. She strutted the carpet with an all-white structured gown.

Her neckline arched from her nape to her head, giving her a sophisticated but romantic look.

Her Lever Couture gown gave her a look that looked like a feathery and cloudy escape from heaven itself.

While the Academy Awards night boasted of avant-garde fashion, the top winners, like Brendan Fraser as Best Actor and Michelle Yeoh as Best Actress, ultimately shined through the night.
