Paris Hilton Reflects on the Night of Her Sex Tape
Paris Hilton looks back on the night of her adult recording in her upcoming book, “Paris: The Memoir.” Excerpts from it have been trending online days before its release.
They appeared in the Sunday Times, and USA Today confirms the accuracy. The hotel heiress turned media mogul shares details about the sex tape that sparked her popularity.
It featured Hilton and her boyfriend, Rick Salomon, but she refers to him by the nickname “Scum.”

According to the Sunday Times, Paris Hilton said, “I don’t remember that much about the night he wanted to make a videotape while we made love.”
Also, she revealed that she drank alcohol and took Quaaludes prior to recording. Hilton added, “He had often said it was something he did with other women.…”
“… but I felt weird and uncomfortable about it. I always told him, ‘I can’t. It’s too embarrassing.’”
Despite being incapable of the “level of trust required to make a videotape like that,” the media mogul said she felt pressured to make the video.
Moreover, Hilton said she had assurance that “no one else would ever see it.” She added, “He told me if I wouldn’t do it, he could easily find someone who would….”
“… and that was the worst thing I could think of – to be dumped by this grown man because I was a stupid kid who didn’t know how to play grown-up games.”
“The truth is, I wanted to be alive in a sensual way. I wanted to feel like a woman who’s comfortable in her own skin.”
However, the recording returned to haunt Paris Hilton after it spread online. She begged Scum not to release the full version.
Still, Scum said he “had every right to sell something that belonged to him – something that had a lot of financial value.”
As a result, Paris Hilton wrote, “I felt like my life was over, and in many ways, it was. Certainly, the career I had envisioned was no longer possible.”
Nowadays, she is happily married to Carter Reum. Moreover, they recently announced the birth of their firstborn son, Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum.
