McDonald’s Who? Lil Wayne Hasn’t Eaten Fast Food in Two Decades

/ 09:24 AM February 27, 2023

In a recent discussion with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, rapper Lil Wayne admitted that he hasn’t had fast food in two decades and can’t recall the smell of McDonald’s.

He mentioned this as they talked about his new single “Kant Nobody,” his forthcoming album “Tha Carter VI,” and much more.

Most people found it astonishing. During the conversation, Wayne disclosed his eating habits and how he’s had a personal chef since he was 19. To further bolster his point, he gave a detailed account of how it all started.

“I moved to Miami at 19. My mom is a chef and was very happy about the move because New Orleans is crazy. One thing she wanted me to do was to get a personal chef,” Lil Wayne explained.

“So from 19 to now, I’ve always had a personal chef. I have not eaten any fast food in forever. I don’t know what McDonald’s smells like.”

What Else Did Lil Wayne Reveal?

When fans thought that was it, he said he doesn’t work out or hit the gym. “Only gym I know is Jim Jones,” the rapper said.

“I can’t lift a weight. I don’t do no workout.” which maybe wouldn’t surprise most people as the first statement.

He was then asked about his upcoming 14th studio album, the 6th installment in his ‘Tha Carter’ series of albums.

Lil Wayne said he “never even imagined” it would have gone on for so long. He did appreciate his fans and urged them to expect nothing but a masterpiece.

“My fans know I always give my all. Go and listen to my last feature and know it will be a thousand times better than that,” he added.

Fans are in for a Treat

The rapper dropped the first single from the album, ‘Kant Nobody,’ last week (February 23).

Swizz Beatz produced this track and also sampled the late DMX. It was for the fans something to expect from the new album.

Though an official release date for ‘Tha Carter VI’ has yet to be confirmed, many fans have their fingers crossed in anticipation.

Recently, the rapper was in the news when he joined Jay-Z, DJ Khaled, Rick Ross, John Legend, and Friday to wrap up the 2023 Grammys in an inspiring performance of their collaborative track ‘God Did.’

For most music lovers, that night was historic, as it saw Beyoncé become the world’s most decorated artist of all time.

Also, a celebratory performance in honor of hip-hop’s 50th anniversary with the likes of LL Cool J, Busta Rhymes, and many more.

It might be good news for his fans since the wait may soon be over for his album. It would also be a win for all music lovers, especially the rap genre, to see another Carter album.

Over the years, his albums have made it to the top of many charts, winning him accolades and gaining international recognition.
