/ 09:34 AM November 02, 2022

Is there a season that brings more comfort than autumn? I’m guessing your answer is no. Autumn, or Fall as most Americans call it, has taken the front stage among seasons in the hearts of many, and this could be because of several reasons ranging from seeing the brightest full moons and the smell of pumpkin spice to the endless array of fun fall activities to the changing color of leaves. Most especially, there is a higher chance of falling in love during autumn (according to Redbook Magazine).

For dates during the summer, it would be nice to opt for activities to help you experience the best of autumn. You could start with outdoor activities like a picnic with all the fall specials, not leaving out the apple cider drink or adventurous activities like getting lost in a corn maze, and then spend more time later in the day cuddling up indoors. Because we care about you and your love life, we’ve put together a list of 10 fun and romantic date activities you could do with your loved one while enjoying the best of Fall.

Not only is Fall cold and cuddly, but the scenery during this season is also very magnificent, so taking a picture would be a beautiful idea. Generally, pictures taken outdoors during Fall have a unique color grading, so take advantage of this and take as many pictures as you can with your spouse, and you’ll have something really wholesome to look back on. • Focus on Nature
  • Take pictures during the daytime
  • Take several pictures in different locations
  • When editing, use an orange color filter

Tour a winery

Going for a wine-tasting adventure in the Fall is another romantic and satisfying idea. Apart from the vineyard having beautiful scenery of lush orange leaves and a humid feel, harvest time would mostly occur in the Fall, which means there would be so much variety of fresh wine to explore.

According to statistics, most tourists choose the summer to travel, and now that summer is over, there is enough room for every visitor to get personal attention; since it’s a date, it’ll be great to have enough personal space as well. Also, since it’s harvest time, you might just be lucky to witness the full process of wine pressing.

Cuddle up around the Bonfire

For a very cozy night experience, create a bonfire just around your home with a fluffy chair or couch that can fit 2 people and possibly long enough for her to lie on.

While being cuddled up on the chair, you could do a few activities to keep the night fun and lively, like; Roast Marshmallows and make s’mores. Tell spooky stories, Play your mutually favorite music, try stargazing, and can also decide to turn the bonfire into a grill but only if you know how to roast to avoid kitchen disasters.

Take a Train Ride

If you can, book a scenic Train ride for your date and yourself, a Train Ride is the most effective way to experience the full beauty of Fall from different locations and perspectives. Just picture being cuddled up in a couchette of a train while watching the aesthetic scenery of Fall from your widow, yes! That’s a perfect date.

A peaceful Train Ride in the Fall would alleviate stress and help with clear thinking. You can both have conversations about nature and take pictures of what you see. Here is a list of scenic U.S. Train Rides.

Not all bike rides are for exercising. Bike rides during autumn are a great way to view the beauty of the season, you could also add a flower collection to the list or bird watching, and since the weather is cool enough, you don’t have to worry about sweating out even when you ride mid-day.

Bike Rides can also be a very wholesome and satisfying date idea, a peaceful and gentle ride around the park together is a great way to build connection and intimacy. You can take breaks during the ride to just glance and take in the scenery fully.

Road Trip

If the Train Rides aren’t possible, here is another option that is just wholesome and relaxing. Get your GPS, Your car, and hit the open road with the one you love, you might have a destination, or it might just be a round trip, but whatever the case is, this is a great way to fully appreciate the autumn scenery and relax your nerves.

The ride doesn’t have to be all boring; you could play a couple of road trip games like; spot the odd color, 10 questions, I spy, or decipher license plates.

Enter a Corn Maze

This list wouldn’t be complete without the very special fall activity, the Corn Maze. Whatever the size or thickness might be, getting lost in a corn maze is one of the most exciting, fun, and adventurous activities to indulge in. This activity would give you and your date a long time to walk, discuss, and decide on what directions to follow, a perfect way to know yourselves better.

If you’re going to opt for this option, there are a few tips you should know; wear good walking shoes and appropriate clothes, carry enough water and snacks, and sunscreen, just in case.

Go Camping

Autumn is arguably the best time to go camping, not just because of the scenery but also because the weather is cooler, there are fewer mosquitos, and a greater chance to appreciate nature.

You don’t have to go deep into the forest to camp (even though that’ll be super nice). You could also camp out in your backyard for safety reasons and if you’re not much of a boy scout. Pitch your tent in a preferred location, and don’t rush to sleep just immediately, the night is still young, and there is a lot of time to have fun. You could try stargazing with your date, start and fire and cook marshmallows, sing, listen to music, or tell spooky stories.

Cozy up with a Book

This here is a not-so-tasking indoor activity you could do at any time. If you’re big on reading, then “Netflix and chilling” can’t be compared to cuddling up with your date and reading a book together; it builds intimacy and understanding among couples.

Get matching cozy sweaters and a fluffy blanket with warm chocolate and read.

Rent a Cabin

During the autumn holidays, this is one of the most common activities people indulge in for obvious reasons; it is perfect for having alone time and a great way to feel connected to nature.

Who says it can’t be a perfect date idea? Rent a rustic cabin deep in the woods or on a mountain, it will most likely come with a fireplace that would require you chopping wood or not, but this is a great way to unwind, relax, and connect with your loved one.

Conclusion

The holidays come with the autumn periods, and we understand that you probably want to spend most of your holiday with the one you love, which is why we’ve put together this list for you. You can go ahead and have fun and wholesome dates this Fall.
