LeBron’s son, Bronny James, signs NIL deal with Beats by Dre
Like father, like son. Bronny James is signing a NIL deal with Beats by Dre. He is the first high school athlete to ever sign with the brand, following in his father’s footsteps. LeBron James also signed the NIL deal 14 years ago.
The father-son basketball stars now have a new ad featuring the brand’s Studio Buds earphones and Fit Pro. In addition, the ad showed LeBron James listening to classical music while playing basketball with their son, Bronny James.

There were also a series of jump shots and dunks by the duo while using Beats by Dre headphones in the game. Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine were the founders of the company in 2006.
In 2008, LeBron James signed the NIL deal making him the first athlete on the contract. Teaming up with his son in the ad shows a promising basketball duo in the future. However, while LeBron is aiming for the Los Angeles Lakers to be back in the playoffs, Bronny is looking more into the recruiting circuit.

Furthermore, Nike Basketball announced they had chosen five student-athletes for the NIL deal last week. The other student-athletes that made it to the Nike list are Haley Jones, Caitlin Clark, JuJu Watkins, and D.J. Wagner.
Bronny James is a senior at Sierra Canyon High School in Los Angeles. While still in high school, Bronny was already considering his college choices. Included on his list are Oregon and Ohio State. With the current deal, it seems like LeBron’s dream of playing with his son on the same team wasn’t too far away.
