Three masked men shot and killed a successful Filipina professional photographer early Friday morning, Aug., in Mill Creek, South Everett, Washington during a home invasion that also left her husband injured.

The intruders killed Denise “Irah” Marcelo Sok, 36, and injured her husband, Makara Sok, in the presence of their 7-year-old son, Greyson, according to a KIRO 7 report. The Snohomish County coroner said she died from a gunshot wound to the head.

“My emotions are everywhere right now,” Makara Sok said. “I’m sad. I’m hurt. I don’t know what to do,” he told KIRO 7.

Her family, relatives, friends and Snohimish County Police are appealing to the community for help find Irah’s killers. A GoFundMe page has been started for the family.
