The Philippine-born Irah had just opened a studio seven months ago specializing in maternity and newborn photography. Makara Sok said he met Irah at the Boeing Company where she was an assembly mechanic. Irah was well known to locals for her beauty, sense of humor and talent, her friends said.
“My emotions are everywhere right now,” Makara Sok said. “I’m sad. I’m hurt. I don’t know what to do,” he told KIRO 7.
Her family, relatives, friends and Snohimish County Police are appealing to the community for help find Irah’s killers. A GoFundMe page has been started for the family.
