Beyoncé has yet again reached another milestone in her singing career as she joins the elite company of artists with her new record.  Her latest single, ‘Break my Soul’, made it to the ranks of legendary music artists Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney on the Billboard music charts. Beyoncé is now the first female to mark 20 top 10 titles as a solo artist.

This new single was her 20th top 10 hit as a solo artist. While she also has ten other songs from her Destiny Child era. Michael Jackson has 30 top 10s as a solo artist and 11 with the Jackson 5 and The Jacksons. McCartney, on the other hand, has 23 solo top 10 hits and 34 songs with the Beatles.

The solo pop singer has also become the third entertainer of all time to reach such heights in the Billboard charts. “Break My Soul” soared from no.15 to no.7 on the Hot 100 this week after its debut on June 20.

“Break My Soul” is Beyoncé’s first solo top 10 song since the last hit record of “Formation” in 2016. This was also her first overall since 2020. Her new album “Act I Renaissance” will drop on July 29.

Beyoncé’s Success

Furthermore, the singer also has an estimated net worth of $450 million. Beyoncé announced last month about her upcoming album. It was her seventh solo studio album and her first release after her last album in 2016, “Lemonade.”

Her new chart-topping single “Break My Soul” is a dance tune, and it was a surprise release in June. Fans and listeners even correlated the song to the “Great Resignation.” The lyrics of the song “release your job” and “I just quit my job” relate to the concept.

For the record, Beyoncé scored 10 top 10 hits together with four No.1 hits with Destiny’s Child between 1998 and 2005. Moreover, 20 top 10 hits and seven No.1 hit as a solo performer followed this record. Her previous top 10 song was a sweet rendition of Megan The Stallion’s “Savage.” The remix won a Grammy recently.

Beyoncé’s first Billboard chart breakthrough goes way back to Dec. 7, 2002. She was featured on Jay-Z’s “03 Bonnie & Clyde,” which notched the Hot 100’s top 10 solos. Her head hit “Crazy in Love” and came to her next song to hit the chart.
