WATCH: Pregnant mom with family kicked out of Disney cruise by armed men — because she was ‘too pregnant’

It was a vacation gone wrong for this family, kicked out of a Disney Magic cruise in Miami, Florida. The reason? One of its members was deemed “too pregnant” to get on board, despite having a doctor’s clearance.

Emily Jackson of St. Louis, Missouri documented how the staff of the cruise ship declined her and her family to get on. “I was crying because it’s my fault that no one else can get on,” Jackson said in her vlog, The Jackson Hive, uploaded on Youtube, Thursday, Mar. 29.

“I officially found out that I cannot go on this ship 100 percent, so we are leaving and trying to find flights for tomorrow,” she narrated. She pointed to security guards with AR-15 firearms, and who also used scare tactics on her and her family.

She also documented how the Disney cruise ship staff dealt with their concern. The staff were seen laughing while the pregnant mother was in distress. She told one of the staff: “The Disney workers we’ve encountered before in the last cruise has been all friendly and smiling.”

Jackson was 25 weeks pregnant at the time of the incident. The cruise has a policy that it cannot allow women who are over 24 weeks pregnant to board.

She said that she was not aware of this policy, despite bringing her doctor’s approval. She told WPLG Local 10: “I felt so bad because I felt like it was my fault that everybody couldn’t go.”

Even the Miami-Dade police who kicked them out reportedly laughed at her family’s misfortune. “They had the guy with the gun following us. They had the K-9 unit,” she said.

Jackson also stated that the officer scared her two children. She added: “So we then had to take both babies outside, wait almost two hours for our luggage, outside in the heat, and both babies are red-faced.”

To resolve the issue, the Disney cruise offered to refund the family’s fare, although other costs for their vacation were not covered. Katrina Hallare/JB
